MJ Tribute:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtj7MeLROKU Michael Jackson's new single titled 'A Place with No Name' has been unveiled three weeks after the death of the King of Pop. This song is based on the 1971 hit ballad 'A Horse with No Name' by the group 'America'. Before haters cry plagiarism, the band was fully aware of the song's production. Jim Morey, America's current manager, gave the King of Pop permission to record the song, also declaring "The band was honoured that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael's fans to hear". Jim Morey, was also Michael Jackson's manager in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Details as to when the song was recorded remain unclear. It could however indicate that MJ was working on another album. Although there are no firm estimates as to the scope of unreleased songs from the King of Pop, Sony Music chairman and CEO Tommy Mottola gave fans great hope stating "There were so many recordings, and so many of them were great… it doesnt mean these [unreleased] songs were any less great; it just happened to be the other songs that were picked". Stay tuned for updates, more info and hopefuly more songs and snippets. Only 25 seconds of the single have been released as of yet, this is a loop. Lyrics so far: She said don't you worry, my friend, Oh, take me to a place without no pain. |
